Clan War

Ladder

Clans are ranked on match points. Wins and losses are shown alongside so a record can be read as well as a number.

Closed beta results. These are real games from the closed beta, played before Season 3 opens. The field is small and most ratings are still provisional, so the standings will move a long way yet.

How it works

Two ratings, and they answer different questions

Points is the legacy clan ladder: it goes up when the clan wins a ranked match and down when it loses. MMR is the clan's Glicko-2 rating, which moves further when a result was a surprise and less when it was expected. Beating a clan you were supposed to beat is worth very little.

Characters carry their own Glicko-2 rating, shown on player pages. That is the one matchmaking actually uses — it decides whether a specific pairing of the people who queued is a fair game, where the clan rating decides ladder position.

Both are published with their deviation. A rating whose deviation is still above 120 is marked prov: it has not settled, and it is left off the leaderboards until it does.

Tiers

Rank	MMR	What it means
BRONZE	1000–1199	The bottom of the ramp. Ratings can fall below 1000; they stay Bronze IV rather than falling off it.
SILVER	1200–1399	Climbing. Four divisions per rank, fifty rating points each.
GOLD	1400–1599	The middle of the ladder, and where most settled clans sit.
PLATINUM	1600–1799	Consistently beating clans rated near you.
DIAMOND	1800–1999	The top of what rating alone can reach.
MASTER	2000+	2000 and up. No divisions — the Master pool is ordered by rating, not cut into steps.
APEX	By position	The top one percent of the Master pool, and the only rank position awards rather than rating. Somebody else winning can take it off you, and a ladder where nobody has reached Master has no Apex at all.
